چکیده
As a new academic librarian trying to establish myself and build relationships, I’ve been forced give fair amount of thought what kind I want, need, be. Like many librarians, have find the balance between being available for our faculty—supporting their (and students’) instruction needs facilitating research—and professional in my own right, advocating expertise.Many articles about faculty-librarian relationship focus on faculty perceptions librarians (or vice versa) need collaborative relationships. These are important aspects librarianship address, but they don’t really speak significant contributing factor—librarians’ themselves role.
